The Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our Quinton team. This role involves working closely with teachers and children to provide tailored support for pupils with additional needs, ensuring they can access learning and achieve their potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Support children with a range of special educational needs in the classroom.
Assist in delivering personalised learning activities and interventions.
Encourage independence, confidence, and social skills in students.
Support teachers in managing classroom activities and maintaining a positive learning environment.
Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and report to teaching staff.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to support each child's needs.
Requirements:
Experience working with children with special educational needs (preferred).
Patience, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 2/3 in Childcare, Education, or SEN support) are desirable but not essential.
