Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time / Long-term
Salary: £85 - £110 per day (depending on experience)

Aspire People are seeking a compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Birmingham. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children with a range of special educational needs, helping them to reach their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
About the Role
As a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils with additional needs (such as autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, or learning delays).
Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to implement individual education plans (IEPs).
Support pupils with their social, emotional, and academic development.
Use creative strategies to engage pupils and encourage positive behaviour.
Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom atmosphere.
This role would suit someone who is passionate about making a difference, whether you're an experienced TA, a psychology or education graduate, or someone with relevant experience in care or youth work.
What We're Looking For
Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school-based or otherwise).
A caring and patient nature, with excellent communication skills.
Ability to build strong, positive relationships with pupils and staff.
A proactive, flexible approach and willingness to work as part of a team.
Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 TA, SEN training, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.
