🌟 SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary School | B90 | Immediate Start | Aspire People 🌟Are you a caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistant looking to support children in a nurturing and inclusive environment?
Aspire People is currently working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in the B90 area (Shirley/Solihull) to recruit a dedicated SEN TA to join their team. This is a full-time role with an immediate start, ideal for someone passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs.
🔹 Role Overview:
Position: SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary
Location: B90, Solihull/Shirley
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time, ongoing (potential for long-term/permanent)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, school hours
You will work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to support pupils with special educational needs on a one-to-one basis and/or in small groups. The role may involve supporting pupils with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, or social and emotional challenges.
🔹 What We're Looking For:
Previous experience working with children with SEN (in a school or similar setting)
A calm, patient and empathetic nature
A proactive and flexible approach to supporting individual learning needs
A good understanding of safeguarding and SEN best practices
Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
