Teaching Assistant Opportunities - 5 Full-Time Roles AvailableLocation: Kidderminster
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent, Term Time Only
Hours: 40 hours per week

Aspire Education Agency is currently recruiting five dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants on behalf of a fantastic specialist school based in Kidderminster.
This newly established school is set on a stunning 20-acre site and features bright, modern classrooms alongside specialist facilities, including a brand-new Science and Technology building. The school offers a unique approach, combining elements of mainstream education with therapeutic support for students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, often associated with Autism Spectrum Conditions and challenging behaviours.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing team focused on making a positive impact. You'll be supporting pupils in Years 2 to 4, working in small class sizes of up to 8 students, allowing you to build strong relationships and provide tailored support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support students with learning and emotional wellbeing
* Contribute to a safe, supportive classroom environment
* Assist with individual care needs as required
* Use positive behaviour strategies tailored to each child
* Collaborate with the class teacher to deliver a broad and engaging curriculum
* Promote independence and personal development
Working Hours:
40 hours per week, term time only
* Monday: 8:30am - 5:00pm
* Tuesday to Thursday: 8:30am - 4:30pm
* Friday: 8:30am - 4:00pm
(Includes 2.5 hours per week for training and development)
Requirements:
* GCSE English and Maths at Grade C / Level 2 or above (essential)
* Ideally working towards a Level 2 qualification in Support Work in Schools (desirable)
* Experience working within an educational setting
* An understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
* Experience supporting children with SEMH and additional needs
* A positive, patient, and proactive approach
* Full, clean UK driving licence preferred
