About the Role:
This is a unique opportunity to teach Science in a nurturing and therapeutic learning environment that values relationship-based practice and individualised support. * Build positive relationships with students to support their SEMH and behavioural needs
* Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including SENCOs, therapists, and pastoral staff
* Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching approaches accordingly
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred - but we welcome applications from unqualified teachers with relevant experience (the right candidate without QTS may be supported to complete this)
* Experience or strong interest in working with SEMH, autism and/or behavioural needs
* Strong classroom management skills and a trauma-informed approach
* Passion for Science and creative, flexible teaching methods
* Empathy, resilience and a commitment to improving the lives of vulnerable young people
Why Join Us?
* Supportive and collaborative working environment
* Small class sizes with a focus on personalised learning
* Professional development opportunities tailored to specialist education
* Opportunity to make a lasting impact in the lives of young people
If you are ready to take on a rewarding challenge and help shape a brighter future for our learners, we would love to hear from you
