About the Role:
As a SEN Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring that students with special educational needs receive the support they need to succeed. You will supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher, providing guidance and assistance to SEN students in a variety of subjects. You will work closely with teaching staff and the SENCO to implement tailored learning plans and create an inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and support SEN students in the classroom, ensuring their well-being and engagement.
Provide assistance with personalized learning activities and individual support where required.
Manage student behavior in line with school policies and procedures.
Assist in the preparation of resources and materials for lessons.
Support the integration of SEN students into group activities and mainstream education.
Work closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure the individual needs of students are met.
