Experience working with children or young people, preferably in a SEMH, SEN, or alternative provision setting.

Strong understanding of SEMH needs and how to provide tailored support to students with emotional and behavioural challenges.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong, trusting relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.

A patient, empathetic, and calm approach to supporting children with complex needs.

Ability to remain flexible, adaptable, and proactive in a fast-paced school environment.

Previous experience in a support role within a school, or similar educational setting, would be advantageous.
