About the Role:
As a Science Teacher at this secondary school, you will be responsible for teaching Science across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, engaging students in the fascinating world of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. You will plan and deliver dynamic, high-quality lessons, working closely with your department colleagues to support student progress and well-being. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver well-structured and engaging Science lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all students, ensuring high levels of progress and achievement.
Assess and monitor students' progress, providing regular feedback to encourage improvement.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes a love of learning.
Contribute to the development and review of the Science curriculum.
Support students in their personal and academic development.
Take part in departmental meetings, school events, and extra-curricular activities.
The Ideal Candidate:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Science or a related field.
Experience teaching Science at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
A sound understanding of the National Curriculum and Science qualifications (GCSE).
Strong subject knowledge in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
A passion for teaching and inspiring students to achieve their best.
Excellent communication, organisational, and time-management skills.
Ability to engage and motivate students with a range of learning needs.
