Job description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a qualified and passionate Maths Teacher (QTS) to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Stoke-on-Trent on a long-term basis, starting immediately for 5 days a week.We're looking for a dedicated individual who can inspire students and make a real impact in the classroom. This is a brilliant opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking school with a strong focus on learning, achievement and staff development.
About the Role:
* Deliver Maths lessons across Key KS3 & KS4
* Plan, prepare and assess high-quality lessons that engage and motivate learners
* Support students in achieving strong outcomes in Mathematics
* Work closely with colleagues within the department and across the school
* Be fully involved in the life of the school, including meetings, parent's evenings and CPD
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Proven experience teaching Maths in UK secondary schools
* Excellent subject knowledge and classroom management skills
* A passion for making Maths engaging and accessible
* A commitment to supporting student progress and achievement
