English Teacher - Bordesley Green AreaLocation: Bordesley Green, Birmingham
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-Time | Long-Term (Until July 2026)
A secondary school in the Bordesley Green area is looking for a committed and engaging English Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is a full-time role for the academic year, with the potential for extension or a permanent contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4
- Plan and deliver inspiring, well-structured lessons
- Track and support student progress through effective assessment
- Contribute to the wider English department and school initiatives
Ideal Candidate:
- QTS/QTLS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Strong knowledge of the English curriculum
- Ability to engage and motivate students from diverse backgrounds
- Confident behaviour management and classroom presence
