Are you passionate about supporting children's learning and development? Aspire People are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join friendly and supportive Primary Schools across Nottingham/Derby.
About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support pupils in achieving their best - both academically and personally. You'll help create a positive learning environment, provide one-to-one or small group support, and assist with classroom management and lesson preparation.
Typical responsibilities include:
Supporting pupils with their learning across a range of subjects.
Assisting teachers in the delivery of engaging and inclusive lessons.
Encouraging positive behaviour and helping pupils develop social skills.
Providing additional support to pupils with special educational needs (SEN), where required.
Helping to maintain a safe and welcoming classroom environment.
About You
We're looking for individuals who are:
Passionate about working with children and helping them reach their potential.
Patient, caring, and reliable.
Able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Ideally have experience in a primary school setting (although not essential).
Hold relevant qualifications such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant certificate - desirable but not mandatory.
All applicants will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
