Job description
Aspire People is currently recruiting on behalf of a dynamic and inclusive secondary school in East London for a dedicated Math Teacher to join their team from September. This full-time position is ideal for both experienced teachers and enthusiastic ECTs looking to grow their careers in a supportive and ambitious school environment.Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
* Create a stimulating and engaging classroom environment that fosters a passion for mathematics and encourages analytical thinking
* Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with departmental and school policies
* Differentiate teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners, including those with **SEN** or **EAL**
* Contribute to the development of the Maths curriculum and departmental resources
* Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour in accordance with the school's policies
* Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and enrichment opportunities
* Engage in continuous professional development and collaborate with colleagues to support student achievement
Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
* Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* A proactive, reflective, and inclusive approach to teaching
* A commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of young people
