Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support - Year 9 Student)Location: Small, Friendly SEND Secondary School
Position: Full-Time, Temp to Perm Opportunity
Start Date: September 2025
Are you an experienced and compassionate male Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding opportunity in a supportive SEND environment? We are working with a small and welcoming secondary SEND school that is seeking a dedicated TA to work 1:1 with a Year 9 boy.
The Role:
* Provide tailored 1:1 support to a Year 9 student with additional needs
* Work closely with teaching staff, SENCO, and external professionals to implement personalised learning plans
* Encourage positive behaviour and promote emotional and social development
* Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
* Temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate
The Ideal Candidate:
* Male TA with experience working in SEND settings (preferred)
* Calm, patient and consistent in approach
* Able to build trust and positive relationships
* Committed to helping every learner reach their full potential
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
