Level 3 Teaching Assistant - SEN & Complex NeedsWe are supporting a specialist school in the Telford area to appoint dedicated and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistants to support pupils across the school, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and complex learning needs.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will work flexibly across different age groups and support both individuals and small groups of students. The role requires someone with patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for helping pupils with additional needs to reach their full potential.
Key Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent qualification/experience)
- Level 2 literacy and numeracy skills
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN and/or complex needs is highly desirable
- A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A calm, empathetic, and patient approach to working with students
