📚 Teaching Assistant (Level 2) - Fixed-Term Contract | Secondary School in Greater ManchesterLocation: Greater Manchester
Contract Type: Fixed Term (until 31st August 2025)
Working Pattern: Term Time Only (plus 5 INSET days)
Hours: 32.5 hours per week
Salary: Band 3 SCP 5-6 (£23,500 - £23,893 FTE, pro-rata)

We're looking for a committed and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated team on a fixed-term basis, supporting students across the curriculum and helping them thrive in their learning environment.

🎓 The Role:
Provide in-class support to students with additional learning needs, under the guidance of teaching staff and the SENCO.
Help deliver tailored interventions and strategies that support academic, social, and emotional development.
Work collaboratively with staff to create an inclusive, engaging, and supportive learning atmosphere.
Foster positive relationships with pupils, encouraging independence and confidence.
Support students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, depending on their individual needs.
✅ Ideal Candidate:
Holds a recognised Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent experience).
Has experience supporting students in a secondary school setting or working with young people with SEND.
Demonstrates patience, empathy, and a calm, positive attitude.
Is an excellent communicator, able to work well with staff, students, and parents.
Shows a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
