Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant
32.5 hours per week, Term Time Only
Temporary Maternity Cover - Starting September 2025

Are you passionate about supporting children's learning and development? We are supporting a vibrant primary school seeking a dedicated Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with enthusiastic young learners and supportive teaching staff in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons tailored to the diverse needs of pupils
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to help pupils engage with learning activities
- Help manage classroom behaviour to maintain a positive and productive atmosphere
- Prepare and organise teaching resources and materials
- Collaborate with staff to monitor pupil progress and contribute to assessment processes
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment for all pupils

Candidate Requirements:
- Recognised Level 3 qualification or above in childcare or education
- Previous experience supporting children in an educational setting preferred
- A genuine passion for helping children succeed and thrive
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils
- Basic understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
