Job description
KS2 TeacherAspire is working with a high-performing primary school in central Salford who are seeking a committed and dynamic KS2 Teacher to join their Key Stage 2 team. This role offers the chance to make a real impact on pupils' progress and preparation for secondary school.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver high-quality lessons across the KS2 National Curriculum.
* Take responsibility for the progress and attainment of a KS2 class (Year 3-Year 6, depending on experience).
* Use formative and summative assessment to track pupil progress and adapt teaching.
* Promote high standards of behaviour, engagement and independence in learning.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan topics, share best practice and moderate work.
* Communicate effectively with parents and carers about achievement, targets and wellbeing.
* Contribute to the wider life of the school, including clubs, trips and enrichment activities.
We are looking for a KS2 Teacher who:
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Has proven experience teaching within KS2.
* Has strong subject knowledge across English, maths and the wider curriculum.
* Can set high expectations while providing support and encouragement for all learners.
* Has excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
* Is reflective, resilient and committed to continuous professional growth.
