Opportunity: Full-Time KS2 Teacher - Stoke on TrentAre you a confident Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teacher looking for your next challenge? We are working to support a well-respected primary school in Stoke on Trent that is seeking to appoint a full-time KS2 Teacher.
Role Overview:
As a KS2 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging lessons to students, helping them to thrive academically and socially. You will play a key role in their educational journey, ensuring that all students are encouraged to reach their full potential.
Role Expectations:
As a KS2 Teacher you will be expected to:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum, ensuring they are engaging, challenging, and inclusive for all students.
- Assess and monitor student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to help students improve and meet their individual targets.
- Create a positive and nurturing classroom environment, promoting positive behaviour, respect, and self-confidence among students.
- Differentiate teaching methods to cater for a range of learning styles and abilities, including students with special educational needs (SEN).
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to teaching and learning across the school.
- Promote the school's values and ethos, ensuring students feel safe, valued, and motivated to achieve their best.
Essential Criteria:
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience of teaching within Key Stage 2, with a solid understanding of the national curriculum.
- A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to the academic and personal development of children.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- A commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for all students.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience working with special educational needs (SEN) or diverse learning groups.
- Leadership experience within the classroom is desirable but not essential.
