Job description
Aspire is partnering with a well-respected primary school in Salford to find a dedicated KS1 Teaching Assistant to support their dynamic Year 1 and Year 2 team. This is a fantastic opportunity to assist in the academic and social development of young learners during the early stages of their primary education.Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 or small group support to Year 1 and Year 2 pupils.
Assist in delivering phonics, literacy, and numeracy activities.
Contribute to classroom behaviour management and promote positive learning experiences.
Support administrative tasks related to lesson planning and assessments.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Collaborate with parents and carers to support pupil progress.
We are looking for a candidate who:
Has experience working with KS1 children or holds a relevant teaching assistant qualification.
Is enthusiastic, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Demonstrates a solid understanding of the KS1 curriculum and phonics program.
Possesses strong communication skills and a nurturing approach to student support.
Is committed to upholding high educational standards.
