Key Stage 2 Teacher - January StartLocation: Telford
Contract: Full-time, Long-term (with potential to become permanent)
Start Date: January 2026
We are recruiting an enthusiastic and committed Key Stage 2 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Telford. This is a full-time, long-term role starting in January, with full classroom responsibilities including planning, teaching, assessment, and marking.
The school is well-resourced, has strong leadership, and is dedicated to providing an engaging and positive learning environment. This position is ideal for an experienced teacher or an ECT seeking a role where they can make a real impact.
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality lessons to KS2 pupils in line with the National Curriculum
Take full responsibility for planning, preparation, assessment and marking
Set high expectations for learning, progress and behaviour
Work closely with colleagues to ensure a supportive and collaborative team environment
Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching within Key Stage 2
Strong classroom management and organisational skills
A passion for inspiring and motivating learners
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
