Job Title: Key Stage 2 TeacherLocation: Shrewsbury
Position Type: Full-time, Long-term, ASAP Start
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Key Stage 2 Teacher for a long-term, full-time position at a primary school in Shrewsbury. This role is set to start ASAP, and we are looking for a passionate and dedicated teacher to join a supportive and dynamic school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and effective lessons to Key Stage 2 students, supporting their academic, social, and emotional growth.
Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the National Curriculum, ensuring differentiation to meet the needs of all learners.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively, fostering a positive and productive learning environment.
Provide additional support for individuals and small groups, ensuring all students are progressing and achieving their potential.
Collaborate with colleagues to plan cross-curricular activities and enhance the learning experience.
Support the social, emotional, and behavioural development of students, ensuring a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
Key Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree.
Experience teaching Key Stage 2 with a strong understanding of the National Curriculum.
A passion for working with children and creating engaging, inspiring lessons.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt lessons to support a variety of learning needs.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
