Job Title: Key Stage 2 TeacherLocation: Shrewsbury
Position Type: Full-time, Long-term, January Start
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Key Stage 2 Teacher for a long-term, full-time position at a primary school in Shrewsbury. The role is set to start in January, and we are looking for a passionate and dedicated teacher to join a welcoming and dynamic school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and effective lessons to Key Stage 2 students, focusing on their academic, social, and emotional development.
Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the National Curriculum, ensuring differentiation to meet the needs of all learners.
Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive, focused, and productive learning environment.
Provide one-on-one and small group support for students, ensuring they are progressing and achieving their potential.
Collaborate with colleagues to plan cross-curricular activities and offer rich learning opportunities for students.
Support students' social, emotional, and behavioural development, ensuring their well-being within the classroom.
Key Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree.
Experience teaching Key Stage 2 with a strong understanding of the National Curriculum.
A passion for inspiring and engaging children in their learning.
Strong classroom management skills with the ability to adapt lessons for diverse learning needs.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
