Job Title: Key Stage 2 TeacherLocation: Telford
Position Type: Full-time, Long-term, January Start
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Key Stage 2 Teacher for a long-term, full-time position at a primary school in Telford. The role is set to start in January, and we are looking for a passionate and dedicated teacher to join a supportive and dynamic learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and effective lessons to Key Stage 2 students, supporting their academic and personal development.
Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the National Curriculum, ensuring differentiation to meet the needs of all learners.
Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive, focused, and supportive learning environment.
Provide targeted support for individuals and small groups, helping them to progress and achieve their potential.
Collaborate with colleagues to plan cross-curricular activities and deliver rich, engaging learning experiences.
Support students' social, emotional, and behavioural development, ensuring a safe and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Key Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree.
Experience teaching Key Stage 2 with a strong understanding of the National Curriculum.
A passion for working with children and creating engaging, inspiring lessons.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate lessons to support a range of learning needs.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
