We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate Year 6 Teaching Assistant to support a student with a hearing impairment for the full 2023/2024 academic year in Stafford.Responsibilities:
* Provide one-on-one support to a Year 6 student with a hearing impairment, both in and out of the classroom.
* Facilitate effective communication between the student, teachers, and peers.
* Adapt and modify learning materials to meet the student's needs, ensuring their inclusion in all classroom activities.
* Assist the student with note-taking, assignments, and assessments.
* Help develop the student's independence and confidence in managing their hearing impairment.
* Collaborate with teachers, other teaching assistants, and external professionals to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
