Job Title: Key Stage 1 TeacherLocation: Shrewsbury
Position Type: Full-time, Long-term, Immediate Start
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Key Stage 1 Teacher for a long-term, full-time position at a primary school in Shrewsbury. This role is set to start ASAP, and we are looking for a passionate and dedicated teacher to join a supportive and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality lessons to Key Stage 1 students, fostering their academic and personal growth.
Plan, prepare, and mark lessons in line with the National Curriculum, ensuring differentiation to meet the needs of all learners.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively, maintaining a positive, productive, and nurturing environment.
Provide additional support to individuals and small groups, tailoring learning to support their development.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and deliver cross-curricular activities.
Promote students' social, emotional, and behavioural development within the classroom.
Key Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree.
Experience teaching Key Stage 1 and a strong understanding of the National Curriculum.
A passion for supporting young children's learning and creating engaging, interactive lessons.
Strong classroom management and the ability to adapt lessons for a diverse range of needs.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
