Job Title: Key Stage 1 TeacherLocation: Telford
Position Type: Full-time, Long-term, Immediate Start
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Key Stage 1 Teacher for a long-term, full-time position at a primary school in Telford. This role is set to start ASAP, and we are looking for a dynamic and dedicated teacher to join a supportive and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and effective lessons to Key Stage 1 students, ensuring their academic and personal development.
Plan, prepare, and mark work, tailoring lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
Manage classroom behaviour, promoting a positive and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
Provide one-on-one support and small group work for students who need additional assistance.
Collaborate with other staff members to plan cross-curricular activities and improve students' learning experiences.
Support the social and emotional development of students, creating a safe and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Key Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree.
Experience teaching Key Stage 1 and a strong understanding of the National Curriculum.
A passion for working with young children and creating engaging, effective learning experiences.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate teaching to meet individual needs.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
