Aspire People are delighted to be recruiting for a dedicated SEN Teacher to join a tranquil and positive reward-based learning environment in Solihull. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a resource-based setting within an all-through school, supporting Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 pupils, with flexibility to also support Key Stage 3 classes.

If you're passionate about working with children with special educational needs and want to be part of a school that values positive reinforcement, inclusive teaching, and a calm atmosphere, this could be the perfect role for you!

About the School: This well-respected all-through school in Solihull offers a resource-based setting that supports students with a range of special educational needs. The school focuses on providing a reward-based learning environment, where positive behaviour is celebrated, and students are encouraged to reach their full potential in a calm, supportive atmosphere.
The school prides itself on creating a tranquil and inclusive space for children to thrive academically and socially, with a strong emphasis on developing independence, emotional well-being, and self-confidence.

About the Role: As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for working with small groups of students across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, tailoring lessons to meet the needs of pupils with a range of learning difficulties. You will also have the flexibility to support Key Stage 3 students when required, ensuring a consistent and high-quality learning experience across all age groups.
This role provides a unique opportunity to work in a resource-based setting, offering tailored support to students who benefit from additional help, while being part of a nurturing school environment that values positive reinforcement and reward systems.

Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver differentiated lessons for students in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 with a focus on individual learning needs.
* Support students with SEN in small group or one-on-one settings, ensuring they are engaged and making progress.
* Provide flexible support across Key Stage 3 classes as required, maintaining consistency in teaching approaches.
* Develop and implement individualized learning plans (ILPs) for students with SEN, working closely with teaching assistants and other professionals.
* Foster a positive reward-based learning environment, using strategies to encourage good behaviour and academic engagement.
* Track and monitor progress, providing regular updates to parents, carers, and the leadership team.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure all students receive the necessary support to succeed.
* Promote emotional well-being and independence in students, encouraging them to take responsibility for their own learning.

What We Offer:
* A tranquil and positive learning environment where students are encouraged to flourish.
* A supportive, inclusive school community that values collaboration and professional development.
* Flexibility to work across Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2, and Key Stage 3, enhancing your teaching experience.
* A reward-based approach that promotes positive behaviour and supports students' emotional development.
* Opportunities for ongoing professional development and career progression.

What You'll Need:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Experience teaching children with SEN, particularly those with moderate learning difficulties or other additional needs.
* A flexible approach to teaching, with the ability to adapt lessons and support across Key Stage 1, 2, and 3.
* A calm and patient teaching style, with a commitment to creating a positive learning environment for all students.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies.
* A passion for helping children achieve their best and make meaningful progress.

Application Process: If you're an experienced and compassionate SEN Teacher who is dedicated to working in a positive, reward-based learning environment and making a real difference in the lives of students with additional needs, we'd love to hear from you! Please apply directly so I can give you a call
