Are you a motivated and passionate ICT Teacher looking to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and forward-thinking secondary school? Aspire People is proud to be supporting a well-regarded school in the Great Barr area of Birmingham in their search for a dedicated full-time ICT Teacher to join their team.Whether you're an experienced educator, this is an excellent opportunity to teach ICT and Computing across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 in a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, innovative, and inclusive ICT lessons that align with the national curriculum.
Teach across KS3 and KS4, with potential for involvement in GCSE preparation and coursework support.
Inspire students to develop digital literacy, problem-solving, and computational thinking.
Use a variety of teaching strategies and ICT tools to enhance classroom learning and practical understanding.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and tailored support.
Maintain a well-managed, orderly, and focused classroom environment.
Contribute to curriculum development, departmental planning, and school events.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student achievement.
What We're Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification (PGCE, QTLS).
Strong subject knowledge in ICT, Computer Science, and related areas.
Experience teaching in UK secondary schools - ECTs are welcome to apply.
Ability to differentiate learning and engage students of all abilities.
Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
A positive, proactive attitude and a genuine passion for education and technology.
A current, enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one through Aspire People.
