- Provide supervision of classes during short-term teacher absences, ensuring students continue to engage in productive learning.
- Assist in the preparation of teaching materials and resources, ensuring lessons run smoothly.
- Track and monitor student progress, providing feedback to teachers and supporting the implementation of appropriate interventions.
- Support the pastoral care of students, building positive relationships and helping students manage their social and emotional development.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff to deliver personalised learning support.
About You:
- The ideal candidate will be an experienced and dedicated individual who is passionate about supporting student learning and development. You should have:
- A recognised HLTA qualification or equivalent experience working in an educational setting.
- Experience working in a secondary school environment, providing support in the classroom and with individual students.
- A good understanding of the National Curriculum and strategies for supporting students with additional needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students and build effective relationships with staff.
- A proactive and flexible approach to supporting students in a variety of learning environments.
- An ability to work effectively as part of a team and use your initiative to address challenges.
Why Join This School?
- Be part of a supportive and inclusive school community that values collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Work with a team of committed professionals who are passionate about helping students succeed.
- Enjoy opportunities for professional development and training to enhance your career.
- Make a real impact on student outcomes and be part of a school culture that prioritises both academic and personal development.
