Job description
Aspire People are currently recruiting for a busy special educational needs school located in Luton and are looking to recruit fantastic Higher Level Teaching Assistants to work in the their EYFS, KS1 & KS2 learners. Experience with learners with physical disability is desirable.At Aspire People, our HLTA posts are suitable for those who have extensive experience working in the education sector and are ready for a new challenge. This is an ideal opportunity for Teaching Assistants who have proven experience in leading a class without a teacher present and want to make a real difference in young people's lives.
About You:
* Hold a Higher Level Teaching Assistant Level 2 or Level 3 Qualification
* A strong understanding or passion of working with individuals with complex and profound special educational needs
* Practical experience of leading a class without a teacher present
We welcome applications from candidates not experienced with SEND but have previous Primary HLTA experience. We will also consider applications from teacher training graduates who want SEND experience before embarking on their future teaching career.
