Salary: Pay to scale (Deepening on experience)

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a school for a 12-month fixed term. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HLTA or a qualified individual ready to take the next step in their support career. There is a strong possibility for the role to become permanent, based on performance and school needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality learning support across a range of subjects and year groups
Plan, prepare and deliver lessons or interventions under the guidance of teaching staff
Support pupils with individual needs, including SEN and EAL students
Cover classes in the absence of the teacher as required
Work closely with teachers to track and monitor pupil progress
What We're Looking For:
HLTA status or equivalent qualification/experience
Proven experience supporting teaching and learning in a primary or secondary school
Confidence in leading small groups or whole-class sessions
A positive, proactive attitude and strong communication skills
Commitment to supporting the development and well-being of all students
