CALLING ALL KS1 PRIMARY SCHOOL HLTA'S!Are you a qualified primary school HLTA ready to make a real impact? We're recruiting dynamic educators to bring experience, skill, and professionalism to primary schools across Hinckley, Leicestershire.
YOUR DUTIES WILL CONSIST OF:
1. Professional Development and Collaboration
* Liaising with parents, teachers, and other professionals (e.g., SENCOs, therapists).
* Attending staff meetings and training sessions.
* Acting as a role model for other TAs and sometimes mentoring junior support staff.
2. Classroom Management
* Supervising a class during short-term teacher absence or while the teacher is working with another group.
* Managing pupil behaviour in line with school policy.
* Creating a positive, supportive learning environment.
3. Pastoral Support
* Providing emotional support and encouragement to pupils.
* Promoting inclusion and positive behaviour.
* Supporting pupils with personal, social, or emotional challenges.

ALL APPLICANTS MUST HAVE:
* HLTA qualification (essential).
* Strong behaviour management skills.
* A minimum of 2 years' UK HLTA experience.
* Excellent safeguarding knowledge, as well as safeguarding training (we can provide training).
* An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
* References covering the last two years of employment.
