Aspire People are working in partnership with a supportive secondary school to recruit a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is looking to gain hands-on experience within an educational setting and make a lasting impact on students with special educational needs.
About the Role:
You will work closely with students aged 11-16, providing tailored 1:1 and small group support, helping to remove barriers to learning and ensuring every student is given the opportunity to thrive both academically and emotionally. This role is ideal for aspiring educational psychologists, teachers, or youth workers.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- A degree in any subject (Psychology or related fields desirable)
- Experience supporting children or young people with additional needs (this could be through a university placement, tutoring, counselling, mentoring, or school-based support work)
- A patient, empathetic, and resilient nature
- genuine passion for inclusive education and making a difference
