Are you a recent graduate with a UK Bachelor's degree and a passion for education? Aspire People are recruiting experienced and resilient Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with classroom or tutoring experience who are looking to build confidence and gain further school-based experience before training to teach.
The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
* Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects, ensuring high-quality learning experiences.
* Use your personality, creativity, and school guidance to engage students effectively.
* Confidently manage classroom behaviour in line with each school's behaviour policy.
* Be adaptable, quick-thinking, and able to respond positively to changing situations.
* Create a supportive and inclusive environment that inspires students to succeed.
What We're Looking For
* A UK Bachelor's degree (essential).
* Previous classroom or tutoring experience (essential).
* Strong behaviour management skills and resilience.
* A genuine passion for working with young people and supporting their development.
* Graduates aspiring to move into teaching are particularly encouraged to apply.
* Ability to work flexibly across different schools and subjects.
* DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
* Two references covering the last 2 years.
