Graduate Academic Learning Coach - Join an Outstanding Sixth Form College in BirminghamAspire People are delighted to be working with an outstanding sixth form college in Birmingham who are keen to recruit a number of graduates to support their students.
If you would like to start your teaching career by gaining first hand experience and utilising your subject knowledge, please get in touch ASAP.
You will receive excellent training, support and guidance from an experienced team whilst supporting eager to learn students on their journey to further education.
This college has great links to public transport and a large staff car park. This college regularly wins awards and is praised by Ofsted for their outstanding work. They offer a range of A-Level and BTEC subjects with over 50% achieving an A*-B grade.

Graduate Academic Learning Coach
* Full time, long-term position (full academic year, Monday-Friday)
* Work college hours, term time only - 08:45-16:30
* Excellent experience prior to teacher training
* Utilize your subject knowledge and passion for education
* Support students on a 1:1 and small group basis
* Offer cover for departments when teachers are absent
* Excellent support from an outstanding leadership team
* Free gym on site for all staff to use
* Fantastic professional development on offer - regular CPD to attend
* Work with a team of Graduate Academic Coaches
* Excellent access to public transport and free parking on-site
* Paid on a daily rate basis - £90-£100 per day
* Opportunity to be taken on a permanent contract after a period of time.
Person Specification
* 2:1 or above degree required
* Excellent academic background
* Previous experience with young people is desirable but not essential.
* Passionate about education and making an impact.
* All subjects considered such as maths, english, science, social sciences and more.
