Job Title: Girls' PE Teacher (KS3 & KS4)Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Ongoing (Full-Time, Monday to Friday)
Are you passionate about promoting physical education and well-being among young women?
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Girls' PE Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Stoke-on-Trent. This is a full-time position teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, starting immediately and continuing on an ongoing basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, deliver, and assess engaging PE lessons for KS3 and KS4 girls
Encourage participation, sportsmanship, and healthy lifestyles
Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe learning environment
Organise and supervise extracurricular sports clubs and events
Work collaboratively with the PE department and wider school staff
Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to support development
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
Experience teaching PE at secondary level (KS3 & KS4)
Strong classroom management skills
Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities
A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, during term time
Full-time role (approx. 8:30am - 3:30pm)
