Job description
Female PE Teacher (KS3-KS4) - ManchesterAspire People is seeking a qualified Female PE Teacher for a secondary school in Manchester. This full-time position is set to ASAP and will continue until the end of the academic year.
We are looking for a passionate educator who is dedicated to promoting sports among young females and serving as a positive role model. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to inspire and motivate students, including those who may be reluctant to participate, helping them excel across various sports.
Key Requirements:
* A degree in a sports-related subject
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Strong classroom management skills with the ability to set clear boundaries and high expectations
* Experience in planning lessons and assessments
* Proven ability to manage challenging behaviour effectively
* A commitment to enhancing student achievement and attainment
* A thorough understanding of safeguarding practices
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
All applicants must provide references covering the last two years and will be subject to an enhanced DBS check, including enrolment in the update service.
