Location: Stoke-on-Trent, StaffordshirePay Rate: £140 - £200 per day (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time, 5 days per week

Our client, a thriving secondary school in Stoke-on-Trent, is seeking an enthusiastic and committed teacher to join their English department. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire students and make a real impact in a supportive and forward-thinking school environment.
You'll be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students to develop confidence in reading, writing, and communication. The ideal candidate will be confident in classroom management and committed to fostering a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons following the national curriculum.
Teach across KS3 and KS4, preparing students for GCSE examinations.
Monitor, assess, and record student progress effectively.
Create a supportive and stimulating classroom environment.
Work closely with colleagues to share best practice and contribute to the school's success.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification.
Previous experience teaching English at secondary level (preferred).
Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for English.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
A commitment to delivering outstanding teaching and learning.
