Job description
Aspire People are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Design and Technology Teacher to join one of our fantastic secondary schools in Wolverhampton. This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, starting January 2026 and continuing on an ongoing basis.We're looking for a teacher who can inspire creativity, problem-solving, and innovation in students through engaging and practical lessons.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver well-planned and inspiring Design and Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
* Prepare, plan, and assess student work in line with the national curriculum
* Create a supportive and stimulating learning environment
* Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities
* Maintain excellent classroom management and promote positive behaviour
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Have experience teaching Design and Technology (Product Design, Graphics, Resistant Materials, or similar)
* Demonstrate strong classroom management and communication skills
* Show a passion for inspiring young learners and developing their practical skills
* Be committed, reliable, and enthusiastic about teaching
