Secondary Supply Cover Teacher - Stockport AreaLocation: Stockport and surrounding areas
Salary: £140 - £220 per day (dependent on experience and responsibilities)
Contract: Flexible day-to-day and short-term assignments
Hi, I'm Kat from Aspire People, and I'm currently working with a fantastic group of welcoming and well-managed secondary schools across Stockport who are in need of reliable, confident, and adaptable Supply Cover Teachers to support their teams on a flexible basis.
Whether you're looking for a couple of days a week or full-time supply work, we've got opportunities to suit your lifestyle.
About the Role
You'll be stepping into classrooms across a range of subjects (no planning or marking required), delivering pre-set work, managing classroom behaviour, and ensuring pupils stay on task throughout the day.
This is a brilliant chance to build experience across different settings or ease back into teaching without the pressure of a full-time contract.
What We're Looking For:
Ideally, you'll have:
- QTS or QTLS (or equivalent overseas teaching qualification)
- Experience teaching in secondary schools
- Confidence in covering a variety of subjects
- Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills
- A flexible and proactive attitude
