Job description
Location: WorcesterContract: Full-time, 5 days per week (Monday to Friday)
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: £90 - £120 per day (dependent on experience)
About the Role
We are seeking a confident, enthusiastic, and reliable Cover Supervisor to join our dedicated team at a secondary school in Worcester. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for education-particularly in English-to play a key role in supporting student learning across all year groups.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring a positive learning environment and maintaining high standards of behaviour. While the main focus will be on English, you may also cover other subjects when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervisor classes during teacher absences, ensuring lessons are delivered as planned.
Support students in understanding lesson content, particularly in English.
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and engagement.
Contribute to the wider school community and promote a positive learning culture.
Previous experience in a school setting (desired but not essential).
