Aspire People are working with a specialist provision in Bedfordshire that supports young women who are unable to attend mainstream school due to complex emotional and social needs. Many of these students have experienced a high level of disruption in their early lives, and as a result, may struggle to build trust and regulate their emotions.
This setting offers a structured, supportive environment focused on helping each student re-engage with education at a pace that suits them. As a Cover Supervisor, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining continuity of learning and building positive, respectful relationships with pupils.
What We're Looking For:
We're seeking someone who is:
* Experienced working with young people in an education setting
* Able to confidently deliver pre-planned lessons and supervise small groups (max. 10 students)
* Resilient, calm, and consistent in managing behaviour
* Skilled at building rapport while maintaining clear and professional boundaries
* Proactive, reflective, and confident working independently and as part of a team
* A driver, due to the rural nature of the setting (essential)
This role would suit someone with experience in youth work, residential care, behaviour support who is now looking for a fresh challenge.
