Aspire People are working in partnership with a well-regarded specialist setting to recruit a passionate and dedicated Class Teacher for a September 2025 start. This is a full-time, term-time-only position, perfect for someone with a strong commitment to inclusive education and a desire to make a real difference in the lives of autistic learners.

About the Role
You will play a pivotal role in supporting the academic and personal development of students with additional needs, through a personalised approach that adapts to how each pupil learns best. You will be responsible for planning, delivering, and evaluating a broad and engaging curriculum, including adapted elements of the National Curriculum, while setting and tracking progress against Individual Education Plan (IEP) targets.

Key Responsibilities Include
Delivering high-quality, differentiated teaching tailored to individual learner needs.

Creating a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment.

Working collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and the SENCo.

Setting and reviewing IEP and behaviour plan targets.

Promoting positive communication with parents and carers.

Participating in parent events, school development planning, and staff training.

Ensuring all safeguarding and child protection protocols are followed.

Taking responsibility for an additional area or activity within the school.

What We're Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience working with children or young people with additional needs

Strong organisational and planning skills

A collaborative, team-oriented approach

A genuine passion for making a difference in SEND education

If you're an empathetic, reflective practitioner ready to teach the way children learn - rather than expecting them to learn the way we teach - we'd love to hear from you.
