Job Title: Bulgarian/ Russian-speaking EAL Teaching AssistantLocation: B31, Northfield
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-Time / Long-Term
Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual fluent in Polish?
We are currently seeking a Russian/ Bulgarian-speaking SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a friendly and inclusive primary school in the B90 area.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored support to Bulgarian/ Russian-speaking pupils with SEN.
Work closely with class teachers and SENCO to implement individual education plans (IEPs).
Assist in creating a positive, safe, and nurturing learning environment.
Use your language skills to bridge communication between school and home where necessary.
Requirements:
Fluent in Bulgarian OR Russian and English.
Experience working with children, particularly those with additional needs.
A patient, adaptable, and empathetic approach.
Relevant qualifications or TA training (such as a level 2, 3 in Health and Social, Child development, sport coach and TA).
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one).
