Job description
Do you have experience working with individuals who face social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges and exhibit challenging behaviours? if so, this may be the role for you!Aspire People, an education recruitment agency, are looking for Behaviour Mentors to support a specialist through school in Telford. This school caters specifically to students with SEMH and challenging behaviours, providing a supportive environment for both staff and students.
What You'll Do:
*Provide 1:1 and small group support to students, helping them manage challenging behaviours
*Foster a positive learning environment and promote emotional resilience
*Work closely with teaching staff to implement behaviour management strategies
*Support students in both academic and social development
*Encourage positive behaviour and develop strategies to reduce behavioural issues
What We're Looking For:
*Experience working with children or young people with SEMH or challenging behaviours
*Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships
*A calm, patient, and resilient personality
*A passion for making a positive impact on young lives
*Relevant qualifications or willingness to undergo training in behaviour management
