Key Responsibilities:
Provide Individualised Support: Work closely with a specific student to provide tailored support in their learning journey, addressing their unique needs and challenges.
Assist in Lesson Planning: Collaborate with the classroom teacher to develop and implement effective lesson plans that cater to the individual learning styles and requirements of the student.
Promote Inclusive Learning: Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment, ensuring that the student feels valued and included within the classroom setting.
Monitor Progress: Regularly assess and monitor the progress of the student, providing feedback to the teacher and adapting support strategies as needed.
Behavior Management: Implement effective behavior management strategies to create a positive and conducive learning atmosphere for the student.
Communication: Maintain open and regular communication with the teacher, parents, to ensure a collaborative approach to the student's education.
Requirements:
Educational Background: Minimum of a relevant teaching assistant qualification or equivalent experience.
Experience: Experience working as a 1-1 Teaching Assistant, preferably in a school setting.
Adaptability: Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of the student.
Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively liaise with students, teachers, and parents.
Passion for Education: A genuine passion for education and a commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of students.
Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one
