We are recruiting for a strong, passionate and reliable year 6 teacher to work with a lovely school in Coventry, West midlands.
This is a full-time role, Monday- Friday and runs from September up until Christmas.
Take the reigns of the class and experience everything teaching has to offer from: planning and preparation, assessing, marking and much more! Have the chance to work and guide SEN children and help shape their future!
MAIN DUTIES OF THE CLASS TEACHER:
* Teaching lessons: Delivering curriculum content effectively for their assigned subjects or grade level.
* Planning lessons: Preparing teaching materials, lesson plans, and activities suited to students' needs.
* Assessing student performance: Conducting tests, grading assignments, and tracking academic progress.
* Providing feedback: Helping students understand their strengths and areas for improvement.
2. Classroom Management
* Maintaining discipline: Ensuring students follow classroom rules and promoting a positive learning environment.
* Organizing classroom activities: Planning projects, group work, and interactive lessons.
* Monitoring attendance: Keeping track of student presence and punctuality.
3. Pastoral and Guidance Role
* Supporting student welfare: Identifying students' emotional, social, or behavioural needs.
* Liaison with parents/guardians: Communicating student progress, concerns, or achievements.
WHAT DO YOU REQUIRE?
* An enhanced DBS on the update service
* QTS
* Extensive experience teaching in the UK
* Up-To-date safeguarding training
* References covering your last 2 years of employment
* Solid knowledge of the KS2 curriculum
