Job description
Are you an experienced Year 5 teacher ready to inspire pupils in upper KS2? Aspire People is partnering with a well-established primary school in Manchester (M8) seeking a motivated and dedicated Year 5 Class Teacher.Responsibilities:
Plan, deliver, and assess lessons for Year 5 pupils across all subjects
Prepare students for transition to Key Stage 3
Identify learning gaps and deliver targeted interventions
Encourage positive behaviour, resilience, and emotional wellbeing
Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and parents
Who We're Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching upper KS2, preferably Year 5
Strong knowledge of primary curriculum, assessment, and SATs readiness
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
Enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to pupils' development
