Year 2 Primary Teacher - The Role
As the Year 2 Class Teacher, you will:
* Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.
* Plan and assess effectively to ensure strong pupil progress.
* Create a positive and stimulating learning environment.
* Work collaboratively with the parallel Year 2 teacher and wider KS1 team.
* Support pupils with varying needs, ensuring inclusion for all learners.
* Maintain excellent communication with parents, colleagues, and senior leaders.
Year 2 Primary Teacher - What We're Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Experience teaching in KS1, ideally Year 2.
* Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective assessment strategies.
* A passionate, reflective practitioner with a child-centred approach.
* Excellent behaviour management and organisational skills.
* A commitment to contributing to the wider life of the school.
Salary
Inner London MPS-UPS, dependent on experience.
