Aspire People are currently recruiting for a KS2 teaching assistant to work as part of a strong team at a one form entry school based in Dudley, this role is an immediate start and required ASAP.The school I am recruiting for are seeking a Teaching Assistant to offer whole class support within a year 6 class setting. The ideal candidate would have a passion for education and a good working knowledge of the primary curriculum in particular Year 6, experience with SATs is beneficial.
The school are keen to meet people for a long-term role which has the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. The staff retention at this school is very high, SEN and EAL needs within the school are average for the geographical area.
To apply for this role, you will need to have a teaching assistant qualification and have an understand of the current curriculum. Experience within Year 6 would be beneficial but not essential.

As a full time, member of staff, the school will expect you to essentially be a permanent member of staff, so the following is expected.
*Support children within a year 6 class setting
*Small group Interventions
*Knowledge of the curriculum
*Knowledge of year 6 curriculum would be beneficial (not essential)
*Assess the children's progress and development
*Ensure the children have good access to the curriculum
*Support the children with SEMH development
*Support the class teacher within the class
*Liaise with staff & parents
